1 Clint Bowyer makes it two years in a row at Talladega, for his first win this season, and 100th victory for Richard Childress Racing.

-Denny Hamlin went a lap down early with out a dance partner.

-Joey Logano received damage when he and Kyle Busch took evasive action with Trevor Bayne slowing for the pits

-Tony Stewart spun his teammate Ryan Newman in the tri-oval while trying to avoid David Reutimann

-Big wreck involving chasers Kyle Busch, & Kevin Harvick after Marcos Ambrose turned his teammate AJ Allmendinger into the rest of the field. Kyle Busch’s 18 went to the garage area for 11 laps. Kevin Harvick spent extensive time on pit road going two laps down and later was black flagged and was sent to the garage area

-Kasey Kahne got spun by teammate Brian Vickers at the start/finish line

-Jimmie Johnson got hit by Andy Lally spinning in the right front of his 48 car

-Kurt Busch and Bobby Labonte wrecked hard with 15 laps to go when Michael Waltrip hooked the 47 car

-A hard wreck when Regan Smith got hooked by the 11 of Denny Hamlin. Regan Smith hit the wall head on, but is okay

-Dale Earnhardt Jr. finished 25th, Jimmie Johnson, 26th, and Jeff Gordon 27th. (Johnson is now 50 points behind the leader Carl Edwards)

-Regan Smith’s team hauler caught fire after the race, when they were transferring fuel out of their cans. Everyone is okay.
