WALLHAULERS – THE REAL ART OF RACING – FULL SIZE, AUTHENTIC, NASCAR DOORS

This week I visited a different kind of race shop, one that makes authentic, full size, Officially Licensed, NASCAR doors. Wallhaulers are the real deal folks, and you really need to see them to appreciate them, they are so slick, so cool, your first reaction is simply….wow.

The guys at Wallhaulers showed me around their shop, which is basically a whos-who in the NASCAR world. (see photos) Owner Trent Broin came up with this idea a few years back, but his passion for racing goes back a lifetime, and you can tell he’s a a hard core, rabid, foaming at the mouth NASCAR fan, just like us.

For any NASCAR fan Wallhaulers are a must have for your NASCAR room (you know you have one) or your man-cave, garage, media room, heck put one over your fireplace, these things rock.

So far he has deals with Hendrick Motorsports, Stewart-Haas Racing, Richard Petty Motorsports, Richard Childress Racing, Penske Racing, Roush Fenway Racing and Joe Gibbs Racing, so all of the biggest names in the sport.

The all new Gen-6 doors for 2013 look so real, and so detailed, they simply look amazing.

I grabbed a couple for the world broadcast headquarters of The Final Lap studio and since my son is a Kyle Busch fan, Trent hooked him up as well. My 4 year old’s reaction was one of shock, disbelief, and pure excitement. When he returned back to earth he asked a simple question only a kid could….”Doesn’t Kyle need that to race?” Which tells you how real these things are!

So what about hanging them on the wall, is it difficult? Not at all, each one is only 9 pounds, lighter than most framed pictures you’d hang. Each one comes pre-wired, ready to hang, and takes just a few minutes. Honestly, it took me longer to find my tools and and measure the spot.

Wallhaulers are the perfect wow-factor item for any NASCAR fan, and since the holidays are coming up, make plans to put a couple Wallhaulers on your shopping list.
