There are 13 places left in NASCAR’s high-stakes game of musical chairs, and each week, one of those chairs will be removed from the game.

Jeff Gordon, who has three Sprint All-Star race wins in his illustrious career, trails only his teammate Jimmie Johnson (four wins) on the all-time win-list in this prestigious dash for the cash event which has been a fixture on the schedule since 1985.

Although Gordon hasn’t won this event since 2001 (13 years ago), he may have his best shot in years to reach victory lane on Saturday.
