Time to Go All-In on Brad Keselowski, Team Penske In Las Vegas
onBy Toby Christie, Editor – Follow on Twitter @Toby_Christie
Brad Keselowski’s 2018 season started off in a frustrating manner.
The Michigan-native is regarded as one of the greatest restrictor plate drivers in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series garage today, yet Keselowski’s ninth bid to win the Daytona 500 ended in a devastating crash while running inside the top-three. It’s the fifth time that Keselowski, 34, has had a DNF (four crashes and one engine failure) in The Great American Race. Understandably Keselowski was disappointed.

A year ago, this same race was dominated by Ford, the same manufacturer that made minced meat of everyone on Sunday. In last year’s edition of the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 Ford race cars led all but 12 of 325 laps.

onBy Toby Christie, Editor – Follow on Twitter @Toby_Christie
After a stirring performance, which led to a second-place finish in the Daytona 500, there was buzz over the last week that Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Rookie Bubba Wallace was ready to win a race. You’ll have to excuse everyone as restrictor plate races have a way of pulling the wool over people’s eyes.
But the expectations of a win, are far too premature and unfair for Wallace (Only two rookies since 2010 have won a race in Monster Energy Cup competition). After looking like a seasoned veteran in Daytona, Wallace, 24, reminded us that he was indeed a rookie in Atlanta.
