Joey Logano Heading To Penske Racing in 2013
onMOORESVILLE, N.C. (September 4, 2012) – Penske Racing announced today that Joey Logano will join the team in 2013. He will drive the No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil Ford in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.
Logano, 22, a two-time Sprint Cup Series winner who is currently competing in his fourth full season, will begin a multi-year agreement with Penske Racing.

Dodge to Withdraw from NASCAR at Conclusion of 2012 Season
AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (Aug. 7, 2012) – SRT Motorsports announced today that Dodge will withdraw from NASCAR competition at the conclusion of the 2012 season.
Ralph Gilles, President and CEO – Street and Racing Technology Brand and Motorsports, Chrysler Group LLC, made the announcement during a media teleconference call. The decision affects current involvement in both the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and NASCAR Nationwide Series. Penske Racing currently fields two Dodge Charger cars in the Sprint Cup Series and two Dodge Challenger cars in the Nationwide Series.
Trevor Bayne to Appear on “Good Morning America”

Concord, N.C. (August 1, 2012) – 2011 Daytona 500 champion Trevor Bayne will make a special appearance on “Good Morning America” Thursday, August 2, on ABC at 8:30 am. Bayne was a guest on the popular show last March after his improbable Daytona 500 win.
