Of course in first place by 35% was pro football, then baseball, college football, but in 4th place was our favorite sport …..Auto Racing…yes folks cars turning left beat out basketball, hockey, golf and college basketball.

“In 2014, 35 percent of fans call the NFL their favorite sport, followed by Major League Baseball (14 percent), college football (11 percent), auto racing (7 percent), the NBA (6 percent), the NHL (5 percent) and college basketball (3 percent).”

SPEEDWAY, Ind. — Team owner Rick Hendrick may have had better days — but not many.

Hendrick joined his No. 48 team in kissing the bricks at the finish line after driver Jimmie Johnson won Sunday’s Crown Royal 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, taking the checkered flag 4.758 seconds ahead of runner-up Kyle Busch and tying teammate Jeff Gordon for most NASCAR Sprint Cup Series wins at the Brickyard — four.
