I am in the best shape I’ve ever been in and I feel good,” added Bayne. “There are currently no symptoms and I’m committed to continuing to take the best care of my body as possible. I will continue to trust God daily and know that His plan for me is what is best.

“As for now, I want to close out the season strong this weekend at Homestead and then shift my focus on getting ready to compete for the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) Championship in 2014. Daytona 500 Qualifying Trevor Bayne GridAfter Ricky Stenhouse Jr. won last season’s race at Las Vegas in the No. 6 Ford, Trevor Bayne is hoping to duplicate Stenhouse’s success by wheeling the No. 6 to Victory Lane this weekend, where he hopes to improve upon his 11th-place position in the standings. Austin Dillon, last year’s third-place finisher in the final standings, is also banking on a strong finish at Vegas to boost him from ninth place back into the championship conversation. Bayne and Dillon both had strong performances in last year’s Vegas event, finishing fourth and seventh, respectively.
