The 26th race of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season is over, and the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup field is set.

Past performances favor Matt Kenseth, Jimmie Johnson, Kevin Harvick and Jeff Gordon maintaining momentum as the Chase hits its mid-point. Each of the top-four ranked Chasers counts multiple Charlotte victories – a combined total of 15. Johnson and NASCAR Hall of Famers Bobby Allison and Darrell Waltrip are the all-time Charlotte winners with six victories. Gordon has won five times.
