FOX Sports Adds Two Years to Agreement Announced In October,
Three More NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Races and 14 NASCAR Nationwide Series Events

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Aug. 1, 2013) – FOX Sports and NASCAR solidified their future together last October when they announced a multi-platform, multi-series media rights agreement through 2022. Today, less than 10 months later, the two organizations announced they have extended that agreement, which begins in 2015 and runs through 2024. In addition, FOX Sports has added exclusive rights to three additional NASCAR Sprint Cup Series events and the first 14 NASCAR Nationwide Series events of each season. FOX Sports secured exclusive rights to the entire NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season through 2022 last fall and that part of the agreement also has been extended through 2024.

Truex To Continue Driving No. 56 NAPA AUTO PARTS Toyota

ATLANTA – Michael Waltrip Racing announced Friday it has agreed to multiyear contract extensions with Martin Truex Jr. and NAPA AUTO PARTS keeping Truex behind the wheel of the No. 56 NAPA AUTO PARTS Toyota in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.
NAPA will continue as one of the few full-time primary sponsors in the series, sponsoring all 36 NASCAR Sprint Cup points races and the sport’s two non-points events each season.

CONCORD, N.C. – Hendrick Motorsports and driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. have agreed to a five-year contract extension that will keep Earnhardt behind the wheel of the No. 88 Chevrolets through the end of the 2017 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season.

“We’re excited to have everything formalized and announced,” said Rick Hendrick, owner of Hendrick Motorsports. “Junior and I had a handshake agreement months ago, and we let other people work out the finer points from there. It was as simple and smooth as it gets.

“My feelings haven’t changed since the day he first signed with us. I’m committed as ever to putting him in the best possible situation to be successful and compete for wins and championships.”
