The two went on to become one of the most successful duos in sports history, accumulating 83 NASCAR wins, four NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) Championship runner-up finishes, and building Roush Fenway into the winningest team in NASCAR history.

Daytona 500 Qualifying Trevor Bayne GridConcord, N.C. (Nov. 12, 2013) – Daytona 500 winner and Roush Fenway Racing (RFR) driver Trevor Bayne has announced today that he has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Bayne – 22 years old – has undergone extensive testing at the Mayo Clinic and has been cleared by doctors and NASCAR to compete behind the wheel.

“I’ve never been more driven to compete,” said Bayne. “My goals are the same as they’ve been since I started racing. I want to compete at the highest level and I want to win races and championships. I am in the best shape I’ve ever been in and I feel good,” added Bayne. “There are currently no symptoms and I’m committed to continuing to take the best care of my body as possible. I will continue to trust God daily and know that His plan for me is what is best.

“As for now, I want to close out the season strong this weekend at Homestead and then shift my focus on getting ready to compete for the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) Championship in 2014. This past season of NASCAR has been an awesome experience. I have made a lot of great friends, had a lot of fun and gained a new appreciation for all aspects of this sport. Jack Roush and everyone at Roush Fenway Racing have gone above and beyond to try and help me succeed and I am truly grateful for their support. I would like to thank them and all of the other people who stuck behind me during the last two years as I tried to learn how to make a successful career in NASCAR. Its tough to step back now and prove the critics were right, but unfortunately my results were not good enough to get the sponsors I needed to appropriately fund next season. Ricky Stenhouse Jr. to Drive for Roush Fenway in Sprint Cup Series in 2013

CONCORD, N.C. (June 26, 2012) — Roush Fenway Racing announced today that 2011 NASCAR Nationwide Series champion Ricky Stenhouse Jr. will compete for the team full-time in NASCAR Sprint Cup Series competition beginning in 2013, while Matt Kenseth and Roush Fenway will part ways at the conclusion of the 2012 season.

“Ricky Stenhouse Jr. has more than proved his abilities on the race track,” said team co-owner Jack Roush. “We feel that he is not only a key piece of our team’s future, but a key piece of the future of the sport. Roush Fenway Employees Commemorate “25 Winning Years” Kickoff with ‘25’ Team Photo

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Feb. 18, 2012) – Roush Fenway celebrated the kick-off of its 25th season by ‘seeing the team haulers off’ to Daytona Speedweeks and taking a ‘25’ team photo with Jack Roush and team employees to commemorate the start of the “25 Winning Years” program CLICK FOR LARGER.

The winningest team in NASCAR history, Roush Fenway Racing will look for its historic 300th victory during the 2012 Speedweeks at Daytona International Speedway. Roush began his operation in Liberty, N.C. in 1988 and will move into his 25th year of operation during the 2012 season.
