The return to Michigan International Speedway couldn’t come at a better time for Greg Biffle, winner of June’s race at MIS and the reigning champion of the two-mile track’s August stop. Biffle is ninth in Sprint Cup standings, just four points ahead of 11th-place Kurt Busch. The last driver to sweep Michigan’s pair of races was Bobby Labonte in 1995. Biffle, a four-time Michigan winner, owns the top Driver Rating (110.00) at MIS where Roush Fenway Racing is the all-time winning ownership with 12 victories.

Will Race No. 9 Stanley Ford in Both Michigan and Ohio in Same Weekend
Concord, N.C. (July 10, 2013) – Richard Petty Motorsports (RPM) announced today it will enter Marcos Ambrose in the Nationwide Children’s Hospital 200 NASCAR Nationwide Series event on Saturday, August 17, at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. The announcement was made today while Ambrose joined NASCAR officials at a visit to the Ohio State Capitol in Columbus. Ambrose will drive the No. 9 Stanley Ford and be a teammate to Michael Annett in the No. 43 Pilot Travel Centers Ford.
