Will Race No. 9 Stanley Ford in Both Michigan and Ohio in Same Weekend
Concord, N.C. (July 10, 2013) – Richard Petty Motorsports (RPM) announced today it will enter Marcos Ambrose in the Nationwide Children’s Hospital 200 NASCAR Nationwide Series event on Saturday, August 17, at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. The announcement was made today while Ambrose joined NASCAR officials at a visit to the Ohio State Capitol in Columbus. Ambrose will drive the No. 9 Stanley Ford and be a teammate to Michael Annett in the No. 43 Pilot Travel Centers Ford.

NASCAR LOGONASCAR Determines No Penalties Coming Out of Daytona Race Weekend

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (July 10, 2013) – Following a thorough review, NASCAR announced Wednesday that it will not assess penalties to the teams that had to change out the spacers that support the hinge bar of the car’s roof flaps last week at Daytona International Speedway. There were 16 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series teams and 15 NASCAR Nationwide Series teams that were involved.
