The most challenging aspect of Saturday’s Johnsonville Sausage 200 Presented by Menards at Road America for the NASCAR Nationwide Series regulars might not be the facility’s 14 challenging turns, but rather the road-course specialists that are racing alongside them.
These specialists are adept at turning left … and right, and are often challenging for the win at the few road courses that dot the national series’ schedules. For instance, all 24 of Ron Fellows’ starts in the NNS have come at road courses, including Road America where he has three top-three finishes in three starts.

BROOKLYN, Mich. — Sunday was Father’s Day, but it also turned into a sweet birthday celebration for Ford Motor Co.

Greg Biffle drove his No. 16 Ford Fusion to victory in the Quicken Loans 400 at Michigan International Speedway on the same day Ford Motor Co. marked the 110th anniversary of its founding. It also was the 1,000th victory for the blue oval in NASCAR’s top three divisions.

BROOKLYN, Mich. — Greg Biffle feels right at home at Michigan International Speedway.

He took the lead for good on a late restart and ran away from the field in the closing laps to win Sunday’s Quicken Loans 400. The No. 16 Ford driver won his second straight race here and the 19th of his career. Four of those victories have come at MIS.
