Hashtag Product To Be Most Active for Pocono 400 Presented By #NASCAR On Sunday

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (June 7, 2012) – Twitter ‘flipped the switch’ late yesterday and went live for the first time with its NASCAR hashtag product in preparation for Sunday’s Pocono 400 Presented by #NASCAR. The first of its kind with any sports league or organization, this new product will create an enhanced live event experience on Twitter at Twitter.com/#NASCAR.

Twitter.com/#NASCAR showcases the best Tweets and photos from NASCAR insiders in an effort to bring the behind-the-scenes story to life for fans during NASCAR race weekends. NASCAR Sprint Cup Series points leader Greg Biffle will appear on American Restoration tonight, Wednesday, June 6 on HISTORY at 10 p.m. ET. In the episode, Biffle brings Rick Dale, the show’s expert restorer of classic objects and artifacts, his dilapidated 1970s Montesa motorcycle in the hopes that Rick can bring it back to life.

Tune in to HISTORY on Wednesday to see if Rick is able to put this speedy dirt bike back on the road, and watch as Rick tests Greg’s professional racing ability.

Joey Logano charges to Nationwide Series win at Dover

DOVER, Del. — Joey Logano smashed the glass slipper Saturday at Dover International Speedway.

Charging forward from the seventh position after a restart on Lap 158 of 200, Logano overtook pole-sitter Ryan Truex for the lead on Lap 195 to win the 5-Hour Energy 200 NASCAR Nationwide Series race, leading a 1-2-3 finish for Joe Gibbs Racing.
