NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championship contender Carl Edwards visited the sailors on the USS Eisenhower aircraft carrier on Tuesday, August 16, 2011, as part of a promotional tour for Richmond International Raceway. Edwards spent time on the flight deck and signed autographs for sailors, who baked him a birthday cake and served it to him in the galley.
