JOE GIBBS RACING DRIVER DENNY HAMLIN RECEIVES MEDICAL CLEARANCE TO RACE IN MARTINSVILLE
onHUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (March 26, 2014) – Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) driver Denny Hamlin will race this weekend at Martinsville Speedway after NASCAR received official confirmation from his doctors that he has been medically cleared to return to regular racing activities.
STATEMENT FROM JOE GIBBS RACING REGARDING DRIVER DENNY HAMLIN
onFONTANA, CA (March 23, 2014) – Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) driver Denny Hamlin was not medically cleared in today’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Auto Club Speedway because of a sinus infection that affected his vision.
Hamlin was taken to a local hospital near the race track for additional evaluation and released. He will be further evaluated this week in Charlotte.
