Dear Facebook Fans and the NAPA Community:

After thorough consideration, NAPA has made the difficult decision to end its sponsorship arrangement with Michael Waltrip Racing effective December 31, 2013. NAPA believes in fair play and does not condone actions such as those that led to the penalties assessed by NASCAR. We remain supportive of the millions of NASCAR fans and will evaluate our future position in motorsports.

STEWART-HAAS RACING STATEMENT VIA FACEBOOK
A quick note to all of our fans regarding Office Depot…

When we formed Stewart-Haas Racing at the end of 2008, Office Depot was the first partner to join our team. We became immersed in their business, and they became equally engaged in our business. Strong B2B relationships were fostered off the track, and on the track our partnership culminated with the 2011 Sprint Cup championship.

We remain proud of all that we accomplished together, and are committed to seeing this relationship through by defending the championship we won together and by continuing to act on Office Depot’s behalf in the representation of small businesses everywhere.

OFFICE DEPOT STATEMENT VIA FACEBOOK
To all Office Depot and Tony Stewart fans – the bottom line is we LOVE Tony Stewart. He’s been a fantastic partner for Office Depot. But we are in a very challenging economy and have been working really hard to improve our business for our customers. We are just not able to continue for next year at the same level of primary sponsorship of the #14 car that we have today. Tony means a lot to Office Depot and the relationship we have built these past four years is about more than our name and logo being on his race car. No matter what, the Office Depot family will always be with Smoke.

STATEMENT FROM M&M’S / MARS INCORPORATED

The recent actions demonstrated by Kyle Busch are not consistent with the values of Mars, Incorporated and we’re very disappointed.

We do not condone this behavior and expect those who represent our company and brands to abide by the same values our company stands for.

We have expressed our strong concerns directly to Joe Gibbs Racing.

Update from the M&M’s Facebook Page

My boss asked me to share this: The recent actions by Kyle Busch are not consistent with the values of M&M’S and we’re very disappointed. Like you, we hold those who represent our brand to a higher standard and we have expressed our concerns directly to Joe Gibbs Racing.
