DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. and NEW YORK (July 23, 2013) – NASCAR and NBC Sports Group announced today they have reached a comprehensive agreement that grants NBCUniversal exclusive rights to the final 20 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races, final 19 NASCAR Nationwide Series events, select NASCAR Regional & Touring Series events and other live content beginning in 2015. Financial terms of the agreement, which runs through the 2024 season, were not disclosed.

Kyle Busch Gets Most TV Airtime Coverage, Not Danica Or Jimmie

What drivers do you think get the most airtime on TV coverage? Danica Patrick? Jimmie Johnson?
According to a new study, Kyle Busch had the most TV mentions (2,159) and interview time (15 minutes, 51 seconds) during the first 12 Sprint Cup races of the season.
The top five in mentions were Busch, Matt Kenseth, Jimmie Johnson, Kasey Kahne and Joey Logano.
The top five in interview time were Busch, Clint Bowyer, Carl Edwards, Kenseth, Kahne.
As for Danica, she ranked 17th in mentions, and 7th for interview time, so it’s not the All Danica, All The time Show on Sundays.
