A preseason title favorite who had a miserable start to his season, Brad
Keselowski fashioned what could be the start of his comeback with a season-best third-place finish at Texas. That result vaulted him into the top 10 in the standings for the first time this year (seventh).

He also won at Nashville the last time he was on this track, capturing his first career win last June.

He finds himself in a similar situation as last year. Outside the top 10 after the first four races, he was eighth after the fifth race in 2008 and stayed locked in for the rest of the season.

He spent a good deal of last summer in second place before finishing third.
