BIG ONE #2 – Seemed to start when Juan Pablo Montoya and Denny Hamlin got together with these cars getting collected 1, 48, 41, 11, 12, 7, 77, 42, 96, 55 A very hard hit to the inside wall for Robby Gordon, luckily he is okay
Kurt Busch leaves Talladega as the points leader
THE FINISH – Dale Earnhardt Jr. was pushing Ryan Newman on the low side, and Brad Keselowski was pushing Carl Edwards. Edwards came down on Keselowski who was holding his line and the #99 went flying into Ryan Newman and then the grand stands.
When Carl emerged from his flaming wreckage, he ran to the finish line to finish the race in true Talladega Nights style. Unfortunately the car needs to cross, so he ends up 24th
UPDATE ON THE FANS: According to Dustin Long @dustinlong: 8 fans injured ..all termed minor injuries … possibility of a couple “minor fractures” … 1 fan to be airlifted
