-Jeff Gordon had a strong car after adjustments, unfortunately he was already 2 laps down.  Jeff finished 26th and loses the points lead to Tony Stewart

-Kyle Busch has splitter problems late in the race and went a lap down ends up 23rd

-Dale Earnhardt Jr. ran top 5 in parts of this race and showed some improvement finishing 12th
