1 Tony Stewart wrecked his primary car in practice and goes from last to first to grab his very first points paying race win for Stewart-Haas Racing.  It’s Tony’s 34th career win and second win at Pocono.  He took fuel at lap 159 and made it last to the end, even saving some for burn outs.

OTHER STORIES ON THE DAY

-Denny Hamlin started the race off the pace with his 11 car just shutting down, he finished 38th and dropped to 12th in the points.

-Jimmie Johnson was caught pitting just as the caution came out after leading early.

-The Double-File restarts made it’s debut, and definitely made things more exciting
