On Wednesday a federal judge lifted Jeremy Mayfield’s indefinite suspension by NASCAR and is cleared to race this weekend at Daytona. The judge said “The likelihood of a false positive in this case is quite substantial.”

Mayfield’s lawyer said “If Mayfield used the drug at the levels NASCAR has suggested, would be “either a walking zombie or he’s dead.”

Finally Jeremy himself said “This is huge for us. This means more to me probably than any race I’ve ever won or anything”

No word yet if he will be able to field a car for this weekend, or drive for another team.
