Aric Almirola (second) posted his first top-10 finish in one race at Iowa Speedway. It is his sixth top-10 finish in 2009. This is Almirola’s best career finish. He was third at O’Reilly Raceway Park in July.

Colin Braun (third) posted his first top-10 finish in one race at Iowa Speedway.

Johnny Sauter (fifth) was the highest finishing rookie.

Ron Hornaday Jr. leads the point standings by 225 points over Matt Crafton.
