Cars were finally on the race track yesterday at Daytona for a couple of Bud Shootout practice sessions, and there is already some mangled sheet metal.

In the first session, Denny Hamlin got together with Mark Martin and collected, Jamie McMurray, also involved Clint Bowyer (driving for Kevin Harvick who has the flu), Joey Logano, Greg Biffle, & Kyle Busch

Jeff Burton was fastest

For the second practice session Kurt Busch was wrecked hard early on when Juan Pablo Montoya got into the blue deuce.

Kasey Kahne led the second practice.
