Practice wrecks damage some top drivers race cars

The Cup Series hit the racetrack Thursday at Daytona International Speedway, and there was already some wrecking sending 3 teams to back up cars. David Regan got loose and Kyle Busch just sealed the deal from there, Kasey Kahne also moves to new hardware for the weekend.

In the evening practice Carl Edwards got into the back of Joey Logano as the 20 car was coming into the pits. No significant damage to either car. Later in the session the #18 of Kyle Busch tapped the back of his teammate Denny Hamlin in the #11 car, who then wrecked the #83 of Reed Sorenson and Tony Stewart. Going to backup cars are the 14, 83, and 11.  Kyle Busch took the blame for this one and apologized.
