Jeff Gordon’s iconic No. 24 DuPont Chevrolet will be in good hands if he gets THE call.

Gordon’s wife, Ingrid, is expected to have the couple’s second child in the coming days. Two-time GRAND-AM Rolex Series champion and current Daytona Prototype points leader Scott Pruett is standing by if that day is Sunday.

Pruett will drive the No. 24 Chevrolet should Gordon have to leave The Glen to be with his wife. Pruett, a road course ace, has four top-10 finishes in five career series races at Watkins Glen.
