Break Through Imminent For Watkins Glen Whiz Ambrose
Marcos Ambrose has a second and a third at Watkins Glen. Maybe after this weekend, he’ll have a first.

Last week, Ambrose announced he would leave current team JTG Daugherty Racing at season’s end. A win this weekend would make the swan song much sweeter.

Ambrose is certainly a favorite, especially considering his strong history on road courses. He nearly won at Infineon Raceway in June, if not for stalling in the closing laps. At The Glen, Ambrose has two top fives in two starts. He finished third last year, and second in 2008. He also has two wins in three starts in the NASCAR Nationwide Series at The Glen.
