Tony Stewart wrecks primary, to the back he goes

Tony Stewart wins All Star #14This car is a carryover chassis from the former Haas CNC team, with a new front clip and body installed prior to the 2009 season. It debuted at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway in August 2007, where Johnny Sauter qualified 38th and finished 42nd. Its next start came in September at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, where Sauter qualified 36th and drove it to a 28th-place finish.

The October stop at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway marked the car’s last start of 2007, with Sauter qualifying 13th – the best qualifying result for Chassis No. 14-450 – and finishing 29th. After testing at Phoenix International Raceway in February 2008, it returned to action in March at Bristol with Jeremy Mayfield at the wheel.

There, he qualified 33rd and finished 30th. The car returned to Bristol in August 2008, where Tony Raines qualified 20th and finished 17th, earning the best race result for Chassis No. 14-450. Tony Stewart has only driven this car one time, in March 2009 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway where he started 10th and finished 26th.
