1 Juan Pablo Montoya takes home his second career Cup Series win (first was Infineon), snapping a 113 race winless streak. He led the most laps in dominating fashion.

-Kyle Busch started the race in the pits with problems from his lead box.

-Clint Bowyer went behind the wall with drive shaft problems to his 33, and drops out of the Top 12 in points finishing 32nd

-Boris Said was dumped by Tony Stewart fighting for the same piece of racetrack and the 83 car was heavily damaged

-Robby Gordon had transmission problems

-Jimmie Johnson had battery issues and later wrecked with Denny Hamlin near the entrance to pit road. Johnson finished 28th, Hamlin 37th.
